NEW! The Gougeon Brothers use Still Water's hulls!
Here at Stillwater Design, our launches are designed to perform with low-wake or no-wake environments. The key to our success is a lightweight, multi-hull system which is constructed to perform efficientally at 0 - 20 knots. This is in contrast to forcing a large planing hull to run at a low cruising speed, putting it in displacement mode, and thus leaving a large wake in its path. This result can be undesirable in many applications, such as cruising and patrolling protected waterways.

In direct relationship to their lightweight construction and low wetted surface area, our boats need very little horsepower to reach comfortably high speeds on the water. Our most popular model -- the 25C -- is a mere 400 pounds when empty.

We pride ourselves on the durability of our vessels given their light weight. The composite materials used in process of creating our product lines are naturally resistant to corrosion from the marine environment, and we use premium urethane paints in the molding process to reduce UV light degradation. These choices provide for a finished product that will last season after season.

The hulls we create are made using vacuum bagging and epoxy infusion techniques on glass fabric and closed-cell foam lay-ups. The cockpiut is made in the same fashion as the hulls, and key areas are reinforced with marine-grade plywood to better withstand the abuse of both feet and fasteners. We use high grade aluminum to attach these cockpits to the hulls.

Still Water's boats are modular in design, lending themselves to easy portability and a variety of dry storage options. All three sections, the two hulls, and the cockpit can be easily carried by two individuals.

Our latest invention, the new 25XL, is an outstanding marine vehicle that offers more features than ever before. Click here to learn more about this exciting new launch!
